Welcome to the website for the Pacific Highway Upgrade from Bundacree Creek to Failford Road, Possum Brush. The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) has spent several years developing a suitable location and concept design for the upgrade in consultation with the local community.

In April 2004, Baulderstone Hornibrook Pty Ltd was awarded the contract to Design, Construct and Maintain this 9.7km section of the highway. The project involves the construction of a divided carriageway with two lanes in each direction with a major interchange at Nabiac to connect the highway with the local and regional road network.

This project is being jointly funded by the NSW and Federal Governments as part of the $2.2 billion Pacific Highway Upgrading Program to improve the travelling conditions on the highway.

The Bundacree Creek to Possum Brush Project was officially commissioned on Saturday 4 November 2006 by Mr John Turner MP, member for Myall Lakes and the Hon Jan Burnside MLC, memberof the Legeslative Council.

A community fun day was also held to celebrate this special occasion.
